A poem about.....

When I close my eyes,
I dream of you and I…..of us
Together, sharing the life we could have
The life we should have

But when I open my eyes,
I’m thrown, forced back into this place of reality
This thing they’ve labled as life
When I realize that this isn’t life at all

Because life is meant for the living
And without you, I am nothing
I               am          dead
An uninhabited corpse

Residing in a place I don’t belong
Longing for your gentle embrace
Or your warm lips on mine
Wishing that my dreams would come true

So won’t you revive me?
Only you have the power to do so
Or will you allow me to continue as proof
That my love for you is everlasting

this is wonderful! im reminded of one of my true friends that i met along time ago in school. he was so nice to me and i was sort of an outcast since i just moved to the area and he was one of the only people that would even talk to me. naturally i trusted him but then he got killed in a car crash a month or so later and i felt like i could just die because he wasnt there. i thought that i was not going to even survive at the school anymore because he was the one who was always there for me. we were both so young that we didnt need any reason to be friends because we were and it was just like being in kindergarden all over again. we met and went with it. now i still miss him soooo much but i tell myself that he is in a better place now. and that is kind of comforting. keep on livin. life may be harsh but you can live. dont fear death. theres nothing to fear.
