Secret Admirer

Secret Admirer

A Poem by JessicaRose

Your secrets bloomed on the page,
and held me captive.
I could not look away, could not stop
devouring you
word by word, admission by admission.
The syllables bled into one another,
swinging me low in their comfort.
I needed to know your mysteries.
Not just a few,
but all.
I needed to possess you,
all of you.
Your secrets may have damned you,
but my God, how they
set me free.
