Be Alone

Be Alone

A Poem by Capitol Virtue
"

This piece is sort of like a short image depicting my emotions of now and then.

"

Opened my eyes as you stood before me and blessed myself in your arms that day.

It was heaven.

You stood there and I stood here,

Though millions of people were around, we were still alone.

We were stuck in the dangerous world of love.

Or so I thought...

Reality came slow but it hit hard and I realized I was alone in that world of dangerous love.

Its like just as quickly as you walked in, you walked right back out and slammed the door to my heart shut.

Not really sure if you ever looked back, but all I know is you left without a warning.

I slept with my eyes wide, waiting for you to reappear,

But just like you would, you never did.

         Fast Forward

Somewhere inside, I cant find the feeling I got from you.

My world may be still cold and empty,

just as you found me.

But I learned that, the longer you are away the better I tend to get.
