A Poem by Darl1ng N1kk1
"

Something I thought of spur of the moment. Started as a love poem, then got a bit philosophical, with just a dash of religion.

"

All of the things that have happened in my life

The good, the bad

The things I want to remember,

And those I long to forget,

Everything that came before the most important moment in my life,

The moment I met you,

Form my prologue.

Once I met you, my real life started

The plot has begun to unfold

One minute a tragedy, the next a comedy,

It is never boring

And even when your name doesn’t appear on the pages,

You’re never really gone

You exist within the heart and mind of the main character

The ending remains a mystery

But that’s really a part of the fun

Not knowing what will come next

I am not the one who decides how this story goes

I am only a character in this epic story

Written in delicate script by an author unknown

He/she has the pen and we are but figments of their imagination

So let’s turn the pages together

And see if we’re a part of each other’s conclusion

I like this. It relates well to my ScriptureX.1 theme, which is a meditation on crazy-wise writing AS original scripture ("God" as aware Zen space, not a mythic object).

The strangest thing about humans is the propensity to project absolutes, or even strong opinions with little creative investigation. All one needs is open-endedness.

Your poem speaks to my heart, for it is the immersion as reader/writer/character that has a fresh potential to be a cognitive yoga. Every navigational principle in life is a story told and lived. And beneath that is the story of the language coding. . .

Your piece is classic.

This is an inspirational work of art. Though you may consider yourself an agnostic, you have given the reader an insight to life. Thank you for sharing.

This is a fabulous write. Other than adding a comma here or there, I wouldn't change a thing.

Top ratings here and into my favorites.

I like the story side and also that it starts almost completly different to the end.
