Literary LifeA Poem by Darl1ng N1kk1Something I thought of spur of the moment. Started as a love poem, then got a bit philosophical, with just a dash of religion. All of the things that have happened in my life The good, the bad The things I want to remember, And those I long to forget, Everything that came before the most important moment in my life, The moment I met you, Form my prologue. Once I met you, my real life started The plot has begun to unfold One minute a tragedy, the next a comedy, It is never boring And even when your name doesn’t appear on the pages, You’re never really gone You exist within the heart and mind of the main character The ending remains a mystery But that’s really a part of the fun Not knowing what will come next I am not the one who decides how this story goes I am only a character in this epic story Written in delicate script by an author unknown He/she has the pen and we are but figments of their imagination So let’s turn the pages together And see if we’re a part of each other’s conclusion © 2010 Darl1ng N1kk1Author's Note
