Story explaining why you may be lonely

"

Is that the question you've been asking yourself lately?  Well, I want you to know you are not the only woman who feels this way.  But, let’s talk about why you are feeling like this.  You’ve been looking for this certain type of a relationship, but you just can't seem to find it.  At times, you feel like “this is it!"  “this is the one”, but the feeling never seems to last.  It’s like every relationship you encounter leaves you with an unexplainable emptiness; each one leaves you feeling like its sucked the life out of you.  You know there is something missing, but you aren’t quite sure what it is.  Yes, there is something missing, but it doesn't ever have to be that way for you again.  You see what’s truly missing in your life needs to be quenched on the INSIDE (your spirit) before the OUTSIDE (your flesh) can be fulfilled.  As long as you continue to satisfy what your flesh wants first, you will never obtain what your soul truly desires and needs.

If you want proof of this read the story of what one woman was told when she wasn’t looking for a man one day and met Jesus.

Scripture reading John 4:6-29

Now Jacob's well was there.  Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.  There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.  (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)  Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria?  For the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said unto her, If thouknewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.  Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.  The woman answered and said, I have no husband.  Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.  Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.  Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.  Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.  But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.  Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.  And upon this came his disciples, and marveled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou?  or, Why talkest thou with her?  The woman then left her water pot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

When Jesus met the woman at a well she was thirsty; but what she truly was thirsting for no man made well could ever fulfill.  There was a desire within her that only Jesus could satisfy.  Jesus began to minister to her in a way she would never forget.  He told her she had had five husbands already, and the man she was living with wasn't her husband.  Now for this woman to have been married five times and working on number six.  You know she had been looking for love in all the wrong places.  Jesus told her that He was The Living Water, and that if she took a drink of His water, she would thirst no more.  Her search was over!  She left her water pot and went to tell the men about The Man she met who had changed her life.  What Jesus gave her was so good she forgot why she even went to the well.  What He gave her did more than quench her thirst.  It filled her up to overflowing.

There is One who loves you as His child and wants you to enjoy a love relationship, but He wants it to be with Him first.  This wonderful man is Jesus.  He is the answer to your search for that ultimate relationship.  He will fill the hole in your heart.  He will help you overcome your loneliness, your faults, and all your failures.  He will give you peace here, now and eternal life with Him in Heaven.  He is the one Creator of the universe and everything it contains, this also includes you.

You won't be complete inside until you have a personal relationship with the God who created you.  A love relationship with Jesus is the most important relationship any woman (or man) can have in life.  This relationship happens through prayer, through walking and talking to Him, through sitting at His feet and listening to Him.  It’s all about having that intimate relationship with THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU.  God is eager for you to get started in this love relationship with Him, if you haven't already done so.

So stop looking for a man; why not let him find you?  Why not allow the Lord to lead him to you?  Look at how priceless you are.  Why not reflect it?

Who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies.  (Proverbs 31:10)

Ladies, we need to allow Jesus to bring the love we desire into our lives, and until He does let Jesus be all THE MAN you need.  You see Jesus won’t have you crying yourself to sleep every night wondering is the way love has to be in order for it to turn out right?  Why, because He promised us He would never leave us, nor forsake us.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

His Holy Spirit will fill you up with more love than we have ever felt.  It will be more love than you ever could imagine.  Greater love has no man than Jesus, for He laid His life down for his friend.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

He is THE ONLY ONE that can make you feel this way.  Jesus is THE ONLY MAN who can make you feel complete.  I know of no other man that could satisfy all your needs.  Only Jesus could ever be all the man you need.  The love (the man) Jesus sends you will add to your happiness, it won’t make you happy because you will have already found that happiness in the Lord.  Fall in love with Jesus first, and when the Lord does bless you with the love you desire everything else will fall into place.

Ladies He’s waiting….  So why don’t we get ourselves ready to receive?

This is very true...sadly not everyone looks at it this way and still wander around trying to find love. It is not easy to learn how to truly love Jesus first with all your heart, but I do believe that it is worth it. He is the only one who knows what you truly need in life and He is the only one that knows how to supply your needs in the right way and time.

Great Job
