It Begins

It Begins

A Poem by Free Thinker

Secrets told
Truths of old
Secret lives
Killing lies
Whispering voices
Adult choices
Unseen intentions
Deadly decisions
Reality fades
Prices paid
Deeper within
Crawling skin
No end
It begins

Has the sound of events that occurred but which now are not talked about. Although the tone of the poem may resemble a spy novel, I imagine what is referred to here are family secrets that are still bothering people. The reference to crawling skin may concern the speaker's own reaction to these events and an inability to deal with them.
