A Vision One Night

i had a vision one night
between waking and dreaming
a spirit came to me with a voice like
soft blue thunder
telling me that he was my guide
that he has always been my guide
an ancestor of such power and fame
an ancestor from Egyptian antiquity
he said i was of his bloodline
a strange and rare bloodline
a bloodline so old it stretches across time
to Atlantis and beyond
he is not alone
there are others
ascended
ancestral
energy
beings

i awoke the next day
thinking of my dream
and felt oddly comforted
i rationalized that the dream
was triggered by my trip to
the blood bank to give blood
i arrived at the blood bank
and waited in the lobby
curious of how the process would go
as it turned out
i could not give blood
the nurse sat me down and told
me i have a rare blood type
O negative
which in most cases would be great
for them to collect as it is
the great universal bloodline
it is the oldest bloodline
but my blood also has
a genetic anomaly
that is very rare
a mutation of malaria
making me immune to malaria
but is unsuitable for donation
i am of African descent
my ancestors
their bloodline found a way
to protect them from outbreaks of malaria

i left the blood bank shaken and scared
but wondrous and amazed.
this poem is a true story
believe it or not
since then
my guide and i speak often
he tells me we all have guides
if we will take the time to listen

listen
listen
between that state
of waking
and dreaming
we are all energy trapped in matter
force trapped in form
vibrating
loving
living
listen
they call to you

you are not alone

You are not alone ! OMG ! My Guardian told me the very first thing, "I am here !" to let me know I wasn't alone cause I was and I was so upset and crying that I was.
