Morning Glow

I despaired this morning. I lost hope for peace and gave up fighting the trend of war in this poem.

Morning Glow

There's blood in the water
Sharks on the prowl
Hunting is easy
Don't get weighed down

There's blood in the morning
Ditch filled to the top
Good people slaughtered
By warriors of god

The bombs and bullets
Knives and claws
Hate's morning glow
In butchers love

May the sunset quicken
Darkness descend
Rainbows aren't working
Just flares marking end
