Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween

A Poem by Tricia Pattinson

Happy Halloween  by Tricia Pattinson

When ghosts come to knock
Before barging in
You best be prepared
With offerings of ginger beer

The haunting will begin
On All Hallows Eve
For those in need of reminding
To where their soul shall be

It may take decades to join in
Or it may be this very night
If your heart is struck down
By the ghosts of living not

If your belief is not present
You'll do well to pretend
The dead are free tonight
To bless or creep you out
