"Uh oh," my mind speaks in shorthand
Already searching critical paths for remedy

The reality of structure imposed is perilous
Science and mathematics on this dreamer's soul, anchoring

I can see the black hole's event horizon
The formulas describing

What do the probabilities and statisticians do
When reality's structure snaps like a rubber band?

I suspect they applaud, ignoring the cause
Misery likes company in a snapping pause

How honorable people love solid ground
Leading the crowd around the barn - highly regarded pursuits

But my mind has found its remedy
Transcending all the structures and negativity

With Time and Space, Gravity complies
And looking up, reaching up, always the prize
