Stone Of Honor

Stone Of Honor

A Poem by Tricia Pattinson

Stone Of Honor
by Tricia Pattinson

Break my heart if it turns to stone
Pound it down to dust because
The dust could seek and roam
More easily become a blossom!

What heart could work as stone?
For surely a heart that kills a child
Is harder than the stone thrown
The stone that honor demands!

Break my heart, crush it!
If ever love of God demands
I turn my heart to stone
To murder, to stone, what God has made!!!!

Thank you! If only our eyes could see the hearts of stone amongst us!

If only ...
But we do learn,don't we?
Keep up the greatness !
It sucks. No, not the poem, not you. Meeting a heart harder than stone. Right write on.
