Blood Worship

Blood Worship

A Poem by Tricia Pattinson

Blood Worship
by Tricia Pattinson

The heavy scent of human rust
Unkempt lives with hidden tusks

Life's reed another bloody straw!

Who wishes to suck the oceans dry?
You could possibly contend in feather light!

The world of Joneses after all are only low class snobs

In a simple wish to comprehend -
How does your switch flip when worship ends?

Are the bells the stroke or a swifter kick?

The woods are full of basis beasties
Ripping each other asunder for tasties

So take your place in the line of bloody forgiveness!

The Holy Sacrament is just blood worship
Another tap for vampires gorging
