Our Goodnight

This is a lullaby I wrote for my babies and I sing it to them every night

Time has come for bed

lay down your head

close your eyes

say goodnight

go to bed

Time has come to sleep

dream of sweet dreams

close your eyes

say goodnight

go to sleep

Author's Note

just keep in mind that this is supposed to be a simple lullaby for my two year old and one year old to enjoy

nice repeating stanza for a lullaby..would like to hear rest of it..you have good ideas..but they are too short..throw some more words on your page like emptying a paint can all at once on the poem..andy warhol style...

Well then... Awwwwwwwwwwww =]
It was simple and short. So easy and free at the same time. Lullabies are a very crucial part of a young child's bed time. Mother gently sings and coos the core of her existence.
As I may quote a story a friend wrote "Travel the world and i assure you, you will never find a more pure form of love that a mother has for her child"
