What a Day ...

What a Day ...

A Poem by Lady Nicole
"

" The inspiration of the thought comes from a long day at work, but a short night, because time flies." I am not really sure what to title it but it came to me as I was reading..

"

It was the Golden sunlight that touched me gently;

After my heavenly Father Breathed on Me and said

awake My child, rise up and Live..

Though, the Moon Rises in the East, yet it sets in the West

So it does with the Sun... It shineth all it's glory upon my flesh..

It warms Me with gentle rays of Golden softness...

Thinking back over some things.. as the Sun dances

through the skies... rippling clouds roaring loud as

the waves upon the chilly seas... the gentle breeze

whipping through long dark tresses; massaging my scalp..

Laying upon a beach towel as the raging waves; crashes

against the sandy shores...The Moons looking down between low clouds

giving light to the paths that leads the way allowing me to see

where my feet were to tread upon the rocky paths...

I can only thank the Heavens for the Sun and the Moon

for giving its warmth and beautiful rays.. for Its light

and the Rays that dances over the rolling ocean that

crashes off the sea...

The Sun rides upon the clouds as it shifts directions

yes as always it rises in the east and will oft' set in the west..

tho the paths sometimes may grow  dark.. so it does with the

skies on that day of Eclipse when the Sun crosses the path

of the Moon making it dark for a Moment..

Yet, The Days grow long and the nights Short..

sometimes the Nights become long and the Days short

The Night's and Day's come and go, but yet it is

another refreshing day...
