Gunkanjima

Gunkanjima

A Poem by crystallized illusions
"

I may be the only one in existence to find interest in this place.

"

Broken stones,

Broken glass,

The ruins here stretch far,

Can you see the bones?

The statue once in the courtyard plaza,

Stands torso-less now, degraded, stripped by a mazza.

He who's head lies in the middle of the piazza.

A broken sight,

A broken town,

Not a green leaf here,
Not a pleasant view

Not a crown.

The beauty lies beanth,

In Gunkanjima, Japan.

In the beaches here,

In the sand.

The only whom care to see it,

Are the only whom dare even try.

Those whom look deeper, here,

Those whom let their imaginations fly.
