Without Gaea

Without Gaea

A Poem by Raven
"

Gaea (pronounced Guy-Uh) is Mother Earth.

"
From beneath the soil my heart beats,
From within my skin my spirit quakes,
From behind these eyes my soul waits,
From inside this host, I can barely wait.

Yearning to be beside Gaea,
Wishing to lie beneath the twinkling above,
Hoping to return to the Old Ways,
Always,
Always Hoping to feel Her love.

My palms tingle with Magickal awareness,
My veins protruding; filled with Her presence,
My body warm,
My spirit protected,
I am embraced and acknowledged.

I know that She watches me,
I know She hears my cries,
I know She will rush to my aide,
I know this deep inside.

Without Her presence,
I would be lost,
Without Her love,
I would be alone,
Without Her voice,
I would be deaf,
Without Her,
There would be nothing left.
