HOW DO I STOP CRYING FOR YOU

A POEM OF SORROW

How do I stop crying for you
please tell me dear so I don't have too.
My tears flow like a river down my cheeks
and my thoughts are only of and for you.

My life has not meant the same
since you left me and I have had to live
without you. Oh why did you leave me?

I have prayed every day and every night
that I might live again without the tears and pain
but nothing seems to take them away.

I know there is a time for everything under the sun
but I wish you were still here with me to see it.

I cry for you, I mourn for you, and all I want now
is to die so we can be together once more. I don't want
to see the morning light nor do I want to see the evening skies.

I just want us together help to stop crying over you and tell me
to continue to live until I come to meet you in heaven's light.
