Linger for Awhile

Linger for Awhile

A Poem by Violet's Run
"

Some moments in time just stand out

"

Linger with me awhile

In lazy inlets of desire

lolled to sleep by the wind

Refreshed by good company

I love to sleep in your arms

With the rhythm of your breath

It surrounds and entices me

Like a warm cloud of possibility

of hope and laughter

My kitchen full of chaotic wonder

Feeling like a girl who still believes

That still had hope of love

I can only watch you with hope

Not putting too much into this

But not wanting to let it go

Nicely described hesitation and hope of what could be. A dipped toe in the pool of life.
