Death Where is Your Sting?A Poem by Violet's RunA soulful search on the human condition and our unshakable companion.. death.
O death where is your sting?
For I behold with calm assurance, the truth of your inability to destroy me O yes in time you will visit me and maybe you will claim my frail flesh but my soul you shall never possess For I am as eternal as tomorrow I am as limitless as an echo I can see no ending and I can recall no beginning Where do dreams go while we are awake? For that is where I shall abide In the space between thoughts In the sparking of a flame when a bird takes wing and hovers in the air Where there are no graves and no pain No tears and no blood just endless vistas to explore and awareness never ending I go I shall go there evermore
