Poetry is DangerousA Poem by Violet's RunSometimes creativity has its drawbacks.....Stream of consciousness runs aground Occasionally it takes a u turn and even hangs out in park I sit there at the light frustrated and poised Hoping for a flash brilliance is not forthcoming chewing on the dirty end of a pencil wondering off hand if I can die of graphite poisoning debating if that would be a good topic for a poem Discarding it and hoping I can freaking do better than graphite What about love? hasn't that old mare been rode a few times? partner no one ever gets tired of a good love poem do they?
