Time and Man

Time and Man

A Poem by Violet's Run
"

Mankind do we know what is going on tomorow? Do we realize how tiny we are in the speck of time?

"
The road that wanders though our lives
It takes a winding route
Some days it is fair and friendly
IT offers hope and faith
Some days it leads to sorrow
With disasters in our midst
Man is but a voyager
On this ever transient road
His impermanence is annoying
His chaotic trials a joke
What is the grand design in a million years
Do we even know?
How can we care of what we make today
When we will not know it after death
Our perspective is so tiny
ON the stage of Cosmic play
That i doubt we'll get a place card
On the table set  by God.

This is a thought provoking poem. If we weren't tiny when contrasted against the vastness of time and space, then we wouldn't exist. It takes vast amounts of time and material to increase the probability enough so that we may finally evolve from stardust. It goes without saying that this vastness also contains the probability that shall enable us to return after a great deal of time has past. Since unconsciousness isn’t aware of the passing of time, then our reincarnation should seem instantaneous to us relative to ourselves as we enter our brave new world as a child. There are worlds without end. It’s good to get a taste of each one. Hopefully none of us shall be born in a war zone like the Ukraine, Afghanistan, or Syria.

I think even I believe that am blessed to stop by. Am honored to read this beautiful write because the truth, wise, wisdom of real life i've seen through your poetic words .. yeah, a man always wanders across the globe..rambling through the darken streets finding his way touching the sky and blink like a lit... What a beautiful poem i've read throughout my day. Some times some pieces are made to live alive into the flesh of the heart for ever and i'd want to consider you this one first from one of 'em... Lovely poem, the concept's all what touches my heart. Keep on!
