FaithA Poem by Violet's RunA matter of a crisis in faith
They say have faith in God
But where is this God they speak of?
Where am I to find him?
If I were to see a burning bush perhaps I would have faith
But sadly all I see around me are the mounting accusations
OF the atheists that echo the thoughts of my fearful heart
To believe in a heaven and it not be there is callous and cold
To believe in a prophet that only wants money is an error in judgment
Of course I have no shortage of that kind of a mistake
I keep watching with eyes of comparison
Inside me there still remains a small voice of sorrow
A lonely voice that tells me to have faith
Faith in WHAT I say?
Faith in yourself it says
For that is why God made you the way you are © 2014 Violet's RunAuthor's Note
