![]() Love is BlindA Poem by Violet's Run![]() In a land of glittering white with crystals shining out In a place where the snow is king and queen A dreamy recounting of a dead end![]() In the land of far away there dwelt a maiden fair She was a timid child and had no power To prevent the changing of the ways Through dark and light she put up a fight To prevent the lie that lived In fields dark and lonely trimmed The last full days of summer fled in ripening repose Down the starry island with blossoms shining Down beside the rivers that were running Into the sleepless parts of yesterday Into the dreams that had all gone away She fought the fight of the ugly kind Knowing full well the ending But that is why they say, Love is blind
