The Girl With No Face

Written about a girl who literally plunged my life into a fiery hell.

She sits at home

All alone

Staring in the mirror

Contemplating what role she'll play tomorrow

A thousand different masks

Hiding beneath her bed

A quiet voice inside her head

 

Underneath all those lies

All those things you believe to be true

You'll find there is nothing

But an empty space 

That fills you not with dread

But fills you with a silent sorrow

 

Her soul bleed onto the carpet

Leaving a great black stain

Her mind a prison 

She cannot comprehend 

Her heart made of stone

She's really all alone 

With no one to guide her

This has always been one of my favorites... It portrays exacly what you are trying to succeed. The Girl With No Personality, someone so fake, she's forgotten what has become of her, and what she was.

I think this is a great poem capturing the feelings of someone who deep insside is lonely to the core but cannot break her condition or won't let anyone try, really marvellous write :)
