Lovely Lonely Nights

Lovely Lonely Nights

A Poem by Ciara Beth

My headlights cuts swaths of light
The sky is cotton stitched with silver thread
Cold raises goosebumps on my arms
And warm breath tries to chase them away
But it's just mine
What a night to be alone
With the stars
The windows are my stereo
The rumble strips are my beat
And my heart sings a song
Of a lovely lonely night

Nice. Very solemn and meditative in a way.
