Are You Lying?

Are You Lying?

A Poem by Shanelle Morgana
"

Say you love him, are you lying?

"
I can see the sunlight shining there
The darkness brilliant in her hair
The day is bright, the night is dying
Say you love him--are you lying?

The smile lost was found again
Does that validate the end?
Leave her broken, leave her crying
Say you love him--are you lying?

He tells you secrets as they scare him
And guilt still pricks him when you dare him
Faithless one is he even trying?
Say you love him--are you lying?

Do you act his age or does he act yours?
Speak of planes and open doors
Lose yourself to dreamy sighing
Say you love him--are you lying?

Patience is the slowest killer
Your plans of leaving do not thrill her
Say you'll return but she's not buying.
And if you love him are you lying?
