Failure

I wrote this song because I felt like I had ruined my life and was completely insufficient at everything.

I never meant to turn these giants into statues made of stone.

I never dreamed that I would wake up one day and feel so all alone.

I'm in the dark waiting for you,

'Cause I missed the mark, i'm disappointing. 

I wish that I could take it all back but it's far too late and I've fallen from grace.

If I could I would rip my head off so I could save everyone from another dull blade.

I don't want to fall away, but I would do it all to save you.

Please excuse me for giving you poison 'stead of roses and acclaim.

I accidentally took your shadows and I burned them in the flames.

You're in my mind, I'm so damn sorry.

You say it's fine, I know you're lying.

I like the poem and I could feel the song.

Very beautiful. I can really relate because many times I will feel like a failure also. You captured the feelings of never ending failure to a t.
