Dream Weaver

Dream Weaver

A Poem by LadyCardiac

Dream Weaver

Come dream me a dream

That doesnt have me awaking

To a nightmare of screams

tears of sorrow

And a heart that can't follow

What it desires,,,

Dreams that were crushed when

Eighten drinks was all it took

To make you forget there was a us

Your damn right you fucked up!!!

You destroyed all the trust

I ever had for you

I swore I never trust again

And there you were like a knight in shinning armor

Ready to save me from the dragons keep

But this is no fairytale

ANd you owe me no lies.

Juust liek you owe me no truths.

Leave me and my heart half broken

But well pull it back together soon.

But pay me this last favor

Tip the dream weaver on your way out

Atleast in my dreams your infedelity shouldnt haunt me.
