A Moving ExperienceA Poem by GenieMy first poem in months, this won't win any prizes (fer sher!), but every baby step helps :-).
My poetry of late consists of lists of things to do for cleaning and packing packing and cleaning as we prepare to move from one house to another An occasional sabbath rest elicits ellipses into more lists … so what should be refreshment and re-setting turns instead to restless thoughts and turnings for the lists they grow and multiply and shout out so much to do I end up overwhelmed and ... oh dear … listless.
