Im(possible)

Im(possible)

A Poem by Ashley Blair

I won’t simply hold your hand,
I’ll cling to your bones,
We already love each other,
But how the hell are we possible?
When you say my name
My lips curl into a small smile
Like the smoke on the ceiling from my incense,
You’re intoxicating and I want to breath you in.
I’ll run my fingers through your hair and pull you under,
I’ll play your strings like my Aria guitar,
And drown you in a melody that I don’t know the name of.

Ashley Blair
I love someone, and they live 800 miles away from me. This came from a late night and really wishing that they were in my bed holding me.
