On Beauty

On Beauty

A Story by Ashley Blair

When will the definition of beautiful be the beauty and radiance of one's soul, rather than their skin? A truly beautiful person doesn't always have a pretty face. The people who are most beautiful never realize it, their sheer innocence of the fact that they are just absolutely stunning, their flaws and imperfections highlighting every little thing that makes them who they are. There is an ocean of a difference between "hot" and beautiful. All of the compliments cannot compare to a truly beautiful person. They are rare, they are few, but the world has yet to corrupt many. They are the diamonds hiding in the shadows, but some of them glow brilliantly - and they don't even know.

My told me that the boys in the church we go to that have such bright souls even add to their outward appearances.
