About the years past and the future still to hold~

LadyAnn’s Birthday 2017

 

July 30 is here once more

The close of yet another score

A glass of champagne she does pour

Stands on the cliff to watch the shore

She’ll never forget the years before

The future is so bright, happiness galore

 

Her education that still awaits

Her decision to fight her passed fate

Her success dangles as if it were bait

She made her stand, she cleaned the slate

She wants to be the best, she wants to be great

As her career opens its wide majestic gate

 

She is no longer alone inside

Her cyberspace friends are an incoming tide

But with each and everyone she tried

Not to pass judgment not to be snide

To listen to their problems that all cried

As a newborn counselor, she feels like a bride

 

And so today of 60 years

She laughs, she cries, she jokes with peers

She has a vision she has made that clear

No longer troubled with past fears

Motivation is the heart of her sphere

She opens this new door with a song and a tear

 

“I MADE IT … MAY I LONG LIVE WITH LIFE, LAUGHTER, AND LOVE IN MY HEART!”

They told me 9 years ago Iw as going to die in 9 months and I am still here!!! I beat the cancer adn I beat life...I am just happy to be alive! Thank you for reading!

Look at it this way...60 years...Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, and Prince did not make it to 60! And 9 years ago the doctors told me I would not live 9 more months, I had breast cancer, but here I am! Yippee!

Well, I had the operation that I swore I wouldn't and I am cancer free today~I am also graduating this October with my Masters of Science in Addiction Counseling~
