You know you’ve walked that mile

The hurt they try to inflict on you

Will bounce right off the tile

In your heart you’ve beat addiction

Put all pain in the “PAST” file

 

Once you’ve shared in print your story

Respect will echo all other sound

You can finally put that “PAST” file

Through the shredder to the ground

All endeavors and goals you seek

Will be successful bound

Recovery is the lighted torch that leads
