When You Go To Heaven

I almost died in a car CRASH 6 days ago Oct 1, 2015and these are my thoughts as I aly inthe hsopital

When You Go To Heaven

 

Is heaven as beautiful as they say

Is there sunshine warm and bright every day

Does fear and pain leave your body free

When you show up at the gate of eternity

Are there angels there to greet your soul

Does the Lord pick out your new role

Are there classes to teach you heavenly things

Are pastels the color of angel’s wings

 

Even though your memory is now just a dearth

Saddened are the ones left behind here on Earth

Will you get the chance to ask the reason why

God chose you now to dance in the sky

Life here on Earth can be so reckless

Have you lived in life’s gracious essence

Do you love and give without exceptions

Have you conquered bad and evil obsessions

 

Does your life matter with responsibilities

Did you give into sin’s susceptibilities

Did you master vices and addictions

In heaven are you free from those afflictions

Has faith guided the roads you chose

Did you trust that God absolutely knows

Did you believe you are in God’s good hands

Cuz we never know exactly his plans

 

Life is beautiful in both places

Always give thanks and be gracious

Love is eternally honor bound

Hear its echo as your life’s sound

So when your life here on Earth goes missing

And you’re in heaven receiving God’s blessing

Be thankful the Lord allowed your birth

Be humble and grateful for your life on Earth

 

YOU WILL NEVER KNOW THE DAY YOU WILL LEAVE!

Yes I am out of all the braces and allowed to move! As long as I can write and type I am good!!! LOLThank you for your concern. When I thought i was about to die all I could think of was ..."Am I presentable to go to heaven?" Weird huh?

Such a emotional poem. I'm so sorry to hear about your accident, I had a one when i was turning 18 which left me near dead in a hospital bed for weeks, so I understand where this comes from. Your language and techniques in writing are brilliant. You're incredibly gifted. 100/100

OMG I will cherish those words for a long time~ Yes when I thought I was about to die...all I was concerned with was..."Am I presentable enough to go to heaven?" And these were my thoughts as I lay in the hospital in that steel box they had me bolted to! But as you can see God i=does not want me to stop writing yet..."More Poetry" he commanded the angel who relayed this to me while unconscious...lol...I really thank you for reviewing this it is kind of special! Well although I do not know you personally, I can honestly say after reading those words, I believe if things had turned for the worst you would have been a treasured member of heavens angelic community. Though in my slight selfishness I am great full you surpassed that trauma and can post more poems and other writing for me to read :3 I agree, you are built for a higher purpose, to express your emotions and experiences for all to see, be it a poem or story ^_^ (ps, totally added this to my favorites in my library) Keep writing!!!!
