About my current situation with school and not graduating, not getting my diploma

Failure again…

 

 

What are you searching for so adamantly

Lurking in the middle years of your life

The early years so full of drugs and addiction

With damage, turmoil, and constant strife

 

Looking now with the wind in your hair

Faster than you feel the years roll by

Giving all your energy to present education

Not letting the past disrupt your try

 

But current efforts don’t always come true

Living life on life’s terms is so very hard to do

But an out-an-out failure we never want

Something now experienced and oh so very new

 

Can you get passed it or wallow in pity

How about taking the easy road to giving up

Constant tears with too much depression sleep

Is not going to change it, it’s not nearly enough

 

In your heart lays the final decision

It is your nature to survive and fight

No matter the Goliath problem facing you

Stand up for your beliefs and swing with all your might

 

The thought of not achieving your primary goal

Tracing your steps almost two years back

Is more than just a migraine this time

Can you find the energy for the courage you lack

 

Look toward the sun and see it shine

Be smart and just redo it all

Keep up the momentum at all costs

Know in your heart it is your call

 

YOU CAN DO IT AGAIN …YOU CAN WIN ... JUST DON’T FALL!

try, and try again... hang tight and just enjoy all what little you can achieve, because sometimes those little one bring great things in the future... we all go through such difficult times and happy times, it is just meant we are living life to the fullest, that we might fall today, then the next day we will rise up and be the mountain... never give up! a very expressive piece you have here, I like it!

The poem is the story for the most of us. I wished I listen to wise Grandpa. I would be in a better place in life. The above lines of your poem are true. We must learn from mistakes and move on and try to be smarter. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Oh thank you as per usual I ave been so depressed and when I can't shake the emotion of negative feelings...I have to write to HEAL! But you are so right that we all have this experience in our lives some earlier than others it is still devastating to me that such a monumental incident can just pop up out of nowhere. Thanks!

I have done negative things. All we can do is learn to be kinder. I believe we are like bricks. We are built on mistakes and if we are lucky. We don't repeat them. No perfect person. Just us trying to do our best.

That's an emotional write but well said. Things do happen and its a shame they do ya know, I am there myself, cant feel any stress because have my back hurting very bad this is the 5th week now and my stomach pains are back, so depression and manic are the least of my concerns. I am bummed about a letter I got today will email you in that part.
