This is about therapeutic writing and how I got saved!

 

Still She Writes …

 

Inspiration and solace captivated

A place she always wants to go

Fantasies in her mind…scented

She wanted to act out and show

 

Take her energies of thought

Cast them down with pen on paper

Get out her dilemmas and creations

Feeling much better and much safer

 

Within the light of her work

An anecdote is often born

Painted thoughts rich in grace

Like a rose without its thorn

 

As autumn of her life approaches

One by one the leaves start to fall

Matching the therapeutic beauty of her writing

One by one magnificent events she recalls

 

Once in a million years, maybe two

Riding Pegasus, powerful and bold

A “Lady” like her RISES…on white wings

With each poem a different story unfolds

 

With each write

A piece of her is saved

With each smile

Her ambition unwaved

STILL SHE WRITES…HER STORIES WITH LIGHT AND LOVE

Good write. its hard for me to sit down and not write something anymore. Especially when I am board. That's where I guess my interest in stories came from. Whenever I got board I would tell my brother and myself a story that I would often make up on the spot. Anyway, good write. Thanks for sharing it!

Although the thorns are my favorite part of a rose and by nature my favorite words to feed on are dark. This work of light was very bright. When it comes to writing, dark or light, writing anything is therapeutic. Nice job.

An imagination is a terrible thing to waste… I always joke that writers have a God complex cause they create their own world through words, but seriously you can explore the human condition even in fiction. Nice write.
