My man disappeared on me...AGAIN!

 

Without You~

 

When I first saw you

I could not utter a sound~

For someone who talks till you’re blue

A complete change-overhaul-turn-around!

 

Because of you I became a different me~

 

When I first had your sex

I was captured under your spirit and spell~

Never have I been so perplexed

No one could I ever admit or tell.

 

Because of you I became your slave that very moment~

 

When you bound me by my hands

I arched up to meet your striding rhythm~

In that “heat” changed ALL my plans

To stay by your side was like singing an anthem.

 

Because of you my values and morals turned~

 

When You left I simply hated

I could not enjoy anything any more~

I did not desire to be separated

I did not want to close that “IRON” door

 

Because of you I became evil~

 

When we first met back after many years

The magic was there for me and rekindled~

Even though it still did not work for you, my greatest of fears

I couldn’t help but feel completely used and swindled!

 

Because of you I became clean and educated~

 

But year after year you were always there

Yet someplace I could not reach or shout~

Shaping and controlling me to fit your affairs

Pulling me in and putting me out!

 

Because of you I became independent~

 

 

God grants and God taketh away

We must be grateful for what we obtain

I get stronger each and everyday

Yet yearning for the impossible with great strain!

 

BECAUSE WITHOUT YOU THERE IS NO ME!
