Dedicated to my cousin...I just saw her for the first itme on 10 years..this is for her Birthday...Feb 18th, 2014...with all my love.

 Seeing You Again

 

I will never forget that moment

My head turned around and there you stood

My prayer answered with solace contentment

I knew I must be in the right neighborhood

 

My heart beating widely fast

You looked so beautiful to my eyes

I wanted to wash away the past

I was speechless with Aileen’s New Year’s surprise

 

There could never be another Christmas

A New Year, a Thanksgiving, or any holiday

That never again I should experience such happiness

For this was an once-in-a-lifetime special day

 

 

 I had to write to tell you how I feel

To let you somehow know in your heart

I will never want or have any other wish

Than “seeing you again” and never part

 

I have through the years missed you so much

And seeing you has repaired my negative emotion

I will remember your hand with its cooling touch

And I pledge to you my ever-eternal devotion

 

Have a happy, happy, birthday, my cousin

For I hope all your dreams be shared

And allow your wishes to blend in

Knowing ALL your family will be there…. including ME this year!

We could be apart for 20 years and some people are needed and befriended again. I like the joy and happiness for the rejoining of two lost friends. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

This was the first time in 10 years she decided to let me back into the family and I had to be 10 years clean...I was 10 years this past Sept 3, 2013...you read the poem..Today's Prayer...that was that day! I thank God for the life he saved because I love life ! Does it show in my writing?

I will show her this review! Her birthday is next Tuesday ...I have no money only my WORDS! We reunited via her daughter, Aileen on New Year for the first time in 10 years...she has accepted me back into the family! This was huge! Now you can re-read the poem and understand it! Thank you...I hope she likes it! I wrote from the heart exactly what happened so we will always have this poem for the occasion, I will have it done on onion paper in calligraphy in green and gold lettering with a beautiful frame! Is that a gift you would like? What do you think? It is all I have but I offer it all!

By the way my cousin...Ququi's daughter, Aileen, read it and said she will freak out! She says that this is better than any flowers...that was enlightening for a person that has LESS than NO money! Oh well... I try!

Thank you... it was so much more than amazing I am finally forgiven and I HAVE my family back! Tell me , I do not have any money I am in school and I can't buy her the 100 white roses I would think warrants this occasion...it is her birthday cooing up and all I have are my words...do you think she will like this?

Oh my thank you so much ...this is for my cousins birthday and I just saw her for the first time in 10 years this New Years...she has forgiven me and I am back in the family! It was a blessed event as far as I am concerned it beat anything to a holiday ever. Since Ia m a medical school student I have no money so I thought I would write her a little poem to show my true feelings about seeing her again...they are genuine...I feel it was a pretty good job but I am pleased you do as well!
