Light of the Candle in My Heart

 

Looking for something in a hopeless situation,

Not yours, not mine but a new creation,

I understand your pathetic position.

So I withdraw my heartsick decision,

 

AS I FIND MY WAY THORUGH THE DARK!

 

If I had one word to describe this,

It just takes more effort it’s not starless,

Dreams are sought and they are made,

Don’t fall behind, it’s not a mistake,

 

TO CHASE YOUR DREAM TILL IT COMES TRUE!

 

Don’t listen to people, who put you down,

As they watch you they’ll come around,

So spread those wings and fly through the clouds,

It’s your destiny to be glory bound,

 

TO COME FROM THE BOTTOM WAY UP HIGH!

 

You never know how far you can come,

Take hold of your passion and let it run,

Don’t take it closed, open that door,

It’s not about who’s less or who’s more,

 

IT’S ABOUT WHO YOU ARE OR WHO YOU STRIVE TO BECOME!

 

Integrity, courage, and honor, you’ve never felt,

Could be yours if you tighten the belt.

One more hole to capture it all,

Your WORDS are big, no longer small,

 

AS YOU RESPECT THEM ONE AND ALL!

 

The next time you meet and you are able,

To keep up with those professors at the table,

Health, Personality, and Conduct too,

By sharing what counts most, “bread” and “love” with you,

 

DON’T TAKE IT FOR GRANTED MAKE IT GRAND!

 

So the next time you’re in the dark,

Light a candle in your heart to find that spark,

A spark of light to illuminate the way,

And when you fall, just silently pray,

 

THE FATHER WILL CARRY YOU TO YOUR DESTINATION!

Perfect ending verse and line:
