The desires and happiness of an author as he forms genius on paper.

 

The Paper, The Pen, and The Author

 

The paper is the ground

It grows with strong words for foundations

It exists without sound

Preparing to be the author’s supplemental creations

 

Its other half is a pen in place

Its lettering produced bold and black

An instrument of beauty and grace

Sharp lettering on paper in contrast

 

As the everlasting words are forming

Which variables to use still uncertain

Through a cherished moment caught adorning

Style to describe it being determined

 

From deep within the mind

Comes rushing framing of thoughts

Ever endless an author will find

Only the words are felt not taught

 

From deep inside the heart

The authors mix of chance

Whether fiction, non-fiction from the start

He depicts loving antidotes of romance

 

From deep inside the authors soul

Comes the truth ...pain or not

Basically a collection or a bowl

Of life and love that are never forgot

 

The author is the last in spirit

He reads the writing of his desires

Like music to his ear like only he can hear it

Caress the feeling once written never expires

It exists without sound! I love that!!

You do such a good job of breaking this down into perfect little components...I just watched the new episode of "Sherlock" from the BBC and it reminds me of how he zeros in on tiny details. You have done the same thing with similar brilliance here. Which variables to use is always the thing that remains uncertain, isn't it. The idea is there, but the variables remain constantly switching...Style to describe is always the rough.

Wait, this sounds familiar!! Are you alluding to someone close to my heart...well, occasionally close anyway? I thank you with sincerity!! Quite kind of you!! Am I presuming too much?!! I really like this poem regardless. What a great writing from beginning to end!!

It is soundless! I get it. This is great, seriously!! It does fit us all, but that I can feel it is somehow about me just is all the more proof it is great writing. The most universal is the most personal, but it is a writer's writing, and I love that.
