Lady Labyrinth

Lady Labyrinth

A Poem by Lauren Xena Campbell
"

The first half of a poem based on my voice try to coach myself into writing something.

"

Lady Labyrinth, what would you speak?

In poetic tone, from dreamers sleep,

What colours could you capture, in truthful voice,

And what war might be laid asunder, with honesties wonder?

Speak you not of palace and glory, but of these legends bound in story,

Written by hand forever still searching, these treasures beheld by all who are urging,

Create for them your voice still reading, depicting the beauties that you are seeing,

In imaginations daze while away the time in hurry, and sit awhile.

I know this self-urging mood very well. The best part of this poem for me is 'in imagination's daze'. I do like that as it is spot on. Imagination dazes us and is itself often a bit hazy dazy. But that is why it is also exciting.
