The night the stars fell from the skyA Poem by Lauren Xena CampbellI wrote this when my best friend when to uniOn reflection what a happy circumstance, To have departed misery and entered your arms, In blissful joy and ignorance this chance, Too soon torn to what frustrations will calm. Departing darkness of raven flight, The night the stars fell from the sky, Loneliness with strength more then my might, Destiny shall sever our tie. And what of fortune in foolish gold, Seeking riches of past influence, future profit, When truth searches renewal as my goal, Not the reality of the beloved departed. © 2008 Lauren Xena CampbellReviews
