Hopeful minds

Hopeful minds

A Poem by Lauren Xena Campbell

Path lit dreams fill the eternity of hopeful minds,

They attempt with inner strength to anti-jinx their luck,

Battened jokes of the history book’s pages themselves they will find,

As they cross their quarry in faithful leaps to find naught but mud.

This is a strong one, the image in the first line is good and the philosohy of the piece makes sense and you have your words all in the right places.
