Endeth Education

Endeth Education

A Poem by Lauren Xena Campbell
"

I was inching to write something earlier and the thought of why we as a race long to learn seemed as good a topic as any to write about, so I did. Hope you enjoy!

"

Too thick the night of souls purest intent,

Ensnared in natures vanity,

To caress the wit so deep as oceans field,

And vanish all thought of profanities shield,

Aged the mind with wisdoms bounty,

Humbled with knowledge coming forth,

Ye sit in silence, undetected, patient for the hour,

And lisenin’ for Gods grace - - Power,

Finally leave to the road, following one’s own desire,

Here endeth the lesson of life.
