Two years and changeA Poem by Lauren Xena CampbellJust something Ive been playing around with, about how quickly things change, so please be honest if you dont like it. Happy writing!Dreams are fashioned in mentality of empathy’s deficient, And in the making, unyielding in occasion and exploit, Yet with the fleeting era, desire nurtures potent, More wayward it commences to wrench the heart. Yet words fail to appease nor amuse, In deaths darkening duration as sanded occasion cascades, Dry is the daylight that torments, emitting reminiscences aside, Distressed spirits moisten, furthering change. It cannot be halted, as of the launch it be as it ought be, Comradeship in offer rapidly to be divorced, Yet the lingering affection of hope and amity, It expired there once nightlight dawned upon dreams mortality. Infuses in bloods tides it festers, worse then cancers breeding, The wanting of wishes excellence, triumph in accomplishments, Hazel to bullion the seasons die and alter, exiled from companionship, Hitherto clenching unto the reverie of your time, energized and needing victory. Whittled away moments exit, fleeting the survival of thee, Trapped in memorial, bidding time for further acquaintances reborn, Slaughter of frivolous requests, at present to bid ‘take leave’, To take up suit of fantasy and to set that revelation in motion.
