I like it, too! :) I love the way you used the rainbow colors, it adds such a great effect to the piece. It reminds me of simple and beautiful places and times. Thank you for sharing this.
I really liked how it was colorful....and after readin it twice I found that its about writing something good that you;re proud of....people write millions and millions of stanzas trying to describe the greatness of poetry but I think you've sumed it up right in this little piece.
nice work

I was drawn to this cos I like pencils...but my favourites are those black and red stipped ones. (Barcelona colours). I got a bit crazy about writing with pencils I found in the street, viewing them as lucky pencils full of words, sort of rescue pencils. And if they were a bit beaten up, sort of half used with teeth marks on them, then that would be doubly lucky pencil. But since the SUPER TUESDAY meltdown I've started using a cheap ink pen cos pencil on paper can be horrible to try and read months later! I like the idea of the pencil pot of gold...but I can't imagine writing a poem in rainbow pencils. But on the other hand why not? A poem written in differnt colours might actually provoke different thoughts. So why not? Young kids would find NOTHING odd about writing a poem in different colours. Also a boring HB office pencil could dream of being a coloured pencil...of drawing kids pictures rather than totting up grey figures in columns.
Dreams are not made to be broken, but are created in the heart to write destiny!
I've always loved making up stories and putting words down onto paper, despite the fact that I only really learnt to.. more..
