Summer

Heading to Paris to meet!

  It was finally Summer time and I was finally doing what  anyone else would do. I was looking at the back of my eyelids, until my cell phone ranged. “She was more than a beauty queen from a movie scene…….”

  “Hey, who is this?” As if I already didn’t know.

  “Hi, Millie,” Jessica said.

  “Hey, Jess, you do realize it’s a weekend?”

   “Of course, but I got this letter in the mail and I have to show you, so be there in a minute,” Jess said.

   I thought about going back to sleep but, Jess would just rip the door off so I got up and started getting ready. By the time I was ready, she was here. I walked down stairs and opened the door. I saw Jess looking in my mailbox.

     “What are you doing?”

     “You have it too!”  Jessica screamed.

    “Have what?”

   “The letter to how to rule the world,” Jess answered.

     “What?” “Let me see.”

Dear Millie M,

                        You are part of the great ancestors of the world. Sadly today the last ancestor in charge had died so in his will he has left the last six of us the world. So I am inviting you to join us in Paris to receive your gift. So if you plan on coming be at the first Australian Air Port and look for a blue and black Jet by 6:00 p.m. tonight. Hope to see you soon.

   “Is this real?”

  “I think it is, but get this Mark just called me while you were reading the letter and he got the same letter,” Jess said.

  “This can’t be coincidence, were going.”

 “Sweet, Paris.” “What about our parents?” Jess asked.

 “I’ll tell them a story they'll have to believe.”

  “Yeah, so I better get packing, see you later tonight,” Jess called leaving.

  While I went back up stairs to go to bed I just thought about ruling the world.

   Outside in Michigan (Alexis & Brooke)

 “Alexis! Brooke!” their mom called.

  We ignored her.

   “You guys have mail and I’m going to work and I won’t be back till 7:00 okay!” mom called and left.
    

 “Hey, Alexis,” Brooke called.

 “Whaat?” Alexis asked.

 “Let’s go see who the letter from,” Brooke said.

 “Noooo, I’m tired.”

 “Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please……” Brooke repeated.

 “Okay, we’ll get it and coming right back.”

  So we got up and went up stairs and got the letter and went back upstairs to go back to bed.

 “Alexis, read this,” Brooke says.

 “Why?”

 “It’s probably junk mail.”

 “No, it’s real,” Brooke says.

 “Let me see,” I looked at the letter and it wasn’t kidding. “Come on Brooke we got to get packed and leave mom a letter.” So we started moving to be gone  before mom found out.

6:00pm in Australia……

 “Come on Mark and Jessica!”

 “Coming Mille,” Jessica called.

 “You are so much quicker when you want something like Mark.”

 “Yeah,” Jessica says blushing.

  So we boarded the Jet and we were off.  “It’s said there were others, so how many others do you think?”

 “Maybe villages were only about twenty people back then,” Mark said.

 “Right.” For the rest of the flight we just played games, talked, and sleep. Then we landed at 6:00 in the morning.

 “Wow!” Jessica said.

 “This place is huge and awesome,” Mark said.

  “Yeah.”

 “Please follow me, my name is Toji,” Toji said.

 “Okay Toji,” Jess said.

 “What a weird name.”

 “Not for me,” Toji said.

  So he led us to this huge building and when I say huge, the one acre mall back home had nothing on this place. Inside it was like a village except for this one building was bigger. People were everywhere.

 “Just through this door is where were meeting ands please reframe from using your special talents,” Toji said.

 “How did he know?” Jessica asked.

 “Welcome to De Don le Un and I am Lady J one of the founder of the Ancestors,” Lady J announced.

 “Hi,” Jessica said.

 “What’s up?” Mark said.

 “Hey.”

 “Come with me, you were the last group we were waiting for,” Lady J said.

 We entered this huge room with few people in it probably only seven people.

 “These guys are Brooke, Alexis, Nick and John,” Lady J introduced.

 “I’m Millie.”

 “I’m Jessica,” Jess said.

 “I’m Mark,” Mark said.

  “You all remember me Lady J and my friend Toji.” “You all read the letter to why I have invited you here, but what you probably all thinking is how you will get the world and am I joking you will get the world.” “Well I’ll tell you so take a seat.” Once everybody was seated I started. “It all started back in the early 1500s” “We had been founded by the first 18 ancestors.” They had found this thing that let them control the world so as they did they made this village you see before you.” “But they began having problems as everyone had different ideas to run things in different ways.” “So one of the leaders, Brooke and Alexis great great great great grandfather thougt of this rave and it was called the race for the world.” “It was a brilliant idea and they even found a reliable hider.” “But only one thing went wrong and that was when someone was found brutally murder, which was my great grandfather as well.” “But no one ever found out who it was, they kept going though and the winner ended up being Millie’s Great Grandfather.”

 “Are you saying more than one person can win?”
 “Sure can if you can share,” Lady J said.

 “What does this story have to do with us now?” John asked.

 “You see the last time someone did this race was 100 years ago and he just passed away last month, who was my uncle and told me everything I just told you,” Lady J explained.

 “So what were going to do is have the race,” Alexis said.

 “Exactly, on Monday though because I'm prett true you're all very tired and we need to know each other better.”

 “So boys follow Toji to your rooms and ladies follow me to your rooms,” Lady J asked.

  So everyone got up and went to their tour guide. The girl’s room ended up being in one hall way. Jessica was my neighbor to the right and Brooke and Alexis were on my left, with all of our personal bathrooms just across from us. I got settled in with my bags already in the room and got ready for bed. By the time I finished I couldn’t go to sleep, not to even close my eyes so I got up and went next door to Jessica’s room. “Hey, you want to tour this place with me?”

 “Won’t we get caught?” Jess asked.

“No, even if they do I can brain wash them.”

“But Toji said not to use your powers here,” Jessica implied.

“Are you coming or not?”

“Okay I’m coming,” Jessica answered.

 We went down halls to halls and door to door. We went to the kitchen where we cooked up sundaes! Then we made our way to the living room, back to the dining room. Then we came across the library and it was huge. There was a paper taped to the wall saying everything from mystery to action. Then one caught my eyes. “The history of De don le un.”

 “Let’s check it out,” Jess said.

 “Okay.” So we walked over the whole history till we found it.

 A book that would help with the race.”Com on let’s read it.”

 “I don’t think so ladies,” Toji said out of know where with Lady J at his side.

 I tried to force them to forget it but it wasn’t working as if it was something stopping it.

“I told you to reframe from using your powers while here,” Toji said.

“Yeah, but I never promised I would.”

“Can everyone please calm down and Jessica put the book back on the shelf and go back to your room,” Lady J said.

“Don’t Jess.” But she did and I used my powers on her.

“You too Millie, we have a busy day tomorrow,” Lady J said.

I didn’t know what happened but I was going to get to the end of it.
