Fades

Fades

A Poem by Lady E.

We lost the world that day

Castaways

Never to be seen again.

And every year

It’s the same old jeer.

Until the sunlight fades

We were never heroes of any kind

And we were always too afraid of the limelight

To apologize

There's always been this belief that I've had. That every living thing has merit. That we all have a purpose here. And, maybe... I don't know, just, maybe we won't ever know what our's is in our lifet.. more..
