The Heartless of Love

The Heartless of Love

A Poem by Lady Cardinal

You are the air that helps me breath
You are the warmth that I feel upon my skin
You are the heart that helps me continue on
You are the eyes that help me see what the world is

But you are no more

I am not afraid of dying
I am afraid of feeling empty of loneliness
I was afraid of losing you and now

I do not know what to do
The life I have has no meaning

I feel I am suffocating
I feel colder
I feel heartless
I feel blind

This is the heartless of love

Lady Cardinal
This poem is actually for the start of a novel I've been writing. It's suppose to be my characters thoughts.

You can be this emotion boiling inside,
you can be the the desire of my eye,
please don't make a war between you and i,
for this feeling is greater than you or i,
don't make me wish to die, maybe even cry,
but satisfy my heart, like my stomach with a chilly fry.
(loved it and had to chip in, hope you don't mind)
