Tinted Memories Blow Gentle On My Mind

Tinted Memories Blow Gentle On My Mind

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

Golden, tinted memories

consumed by the gluttony of time

A tranquil ballet of soundless reflections

dance lithely through my misty memories

The vivid flames of  innocence

flicker, dancing through my mind

Their heightened wisps of wisdom

dance gracefully throughout my years

as they softly shimmer inside crystal tears

The shadows released throughout my soul

reflect the echo of youthfulness

Those abundant, carefree sentiments

Moments sheltered in wispy clouds of gentleness

As I awaken to peaceful azur skies

I celebrate the joyful dance

The melody melts it's vision

in a beautiful, ancient glance

The natural, unseen breath of air

unmasks my tranquil thoughts

of times well remembered

Those tinted memories that blossom

while soft winds blow gentle on my mind
